With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David G. Nelson (Marseilles, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Nelson and Ida Nelson (Ness). He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Meyer of Montgomery, IL.; his children, Amy Figenbaum (Bradley) of Marseilles and Charles Nelson (Nathan Mercer) of LaSalle; his grandchildren, Dakotah, Levi, Colter and Kilah Figenbaum; and his sister Delores Becker (Larry) of Yorkville.
Memorials may be given to the LaSalle County Veterans Home or the LaVerne W. Anderson American Legions Post #729 in Sheridan, IL.
