He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Grieves and Shirley Grieves (Westcott); his son Joseph Nelle; and his siblings, Marge Grieves, Christine Bump, Larry, Ronnie and Pat Grieves.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Grieves; his children, Angela Peterson (Brandon Mires), Melissa Ristau (Shannon), Ryan Nelle (April), Jeremy Grieves and Amie Nelle; his grandchildren, Christian, Jade, Cara, Emma, Brandon Jr., Ethan, Jace, Brantley, Andrew, Evan, Braxton, Ariana, Blake and Carter; and his brother Tim Grieves (Marcia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After that he worked for about 6 weeks at Inframetals until the covid pandemic started.
