We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2020, at the age of 85, Dale A. Maltas of Marseilles, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Maltas and Nellie Maltas (Haff); his wife Barbara Heitl of West Allis, WI; his stepmother Laura; his siblings, Arnold, Floyd, Gene, Don, Nola Sanders, Leila Seaborn, Dorothy Ferguson and Marge Ott; and his great great grandchild Megan.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Johnson (Ron) of Marseilles, Janet Flaa (David) of Morris, William of Clinton, IA, Timothy (Nancy) of Spring Valley, Mike (Joanne) of Streator and John (Sharon) of Ottawa. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Epworth United Methodist Church in Ottawa.
