With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carla Marie Shaver of Marseilles, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Hicks and Helen Hicks (Alexander); her husband John Shaver of Ottawa; and her siblings, Carole Miller and Alex Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Chris of Palatine and Candi of Marseilles; her granddaughter Karlee of Marseilles; her brother Howard Hicks (Myrna) of LaSalle; and her nieces and nephews, Jamie, Bobby (Deb), Paul (Beth), Aaron (Patience), David (Courtney), Mary (Dave), Ian and Jonathan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Seals-Campbell Funeral Home (1009 E Bluff St, Marseilles, IL 61341). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
