It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Wise (Marseilles, Illinois), who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gretencord and Bertha Gretencord (Eichelkraut); her husband Thurman Wise; her son-in-law Joe Greeson; her siblings, Catherine Hougas (Wallace), Ernestine Kjellesvik (Roy), Frances Lettsome (Albert) and Joseph Gretencord (Luella); her nephews, Richard and Robert Kjellesvik; and her aunt Frances Dittman.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Greeson and Douglas Wise (Becky); her grandchildren, Steve, Brian, Anthony, Jeffrey Greeson, Danielle, Aaron and Elizabeth Wise; and her nieces and nephews, Wallace Hougas (Lee), Virjean Applebee (Virgel), Shirley, Steve Lettsome, Diane Kjellesvik and Lynn Kjellesvik.
