She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Everett Shehorn and Claudie Irene (Smith); her siblings, Donald Shehorn of Dixon, IL, Susan Stach (Kevin) of Dixon, IL. and Larry Shehorn; her grandchildren, Eddie Boback of Peru, IL, Jacob Boback (Tracey) of Yuma, AZ and Jessica Maloney (Kevin) of Dyer, IN; her former husband Edward Waters; her daughters, Janice Boback (Clifford) of Buckingham, IL and Lori Waters of Ottawa; her husband Walter Davis; and her stepchildren, Lisa Davis of Moline, IL and David Davis (Pam) of DePue, IL.. She was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
She was a voracious reader, and a well-known walker around Ottawa as well as a lifelong volunteer and charity worker.
