Synthia R. Salazar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Synthia R. Salazar of Marquette Heights, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jr. Elgin and Arlene Frances Elgin (Ritter); and her son Daniel James Elgin. She is survived by: her husband Robert Salazar; her children, Angela Chism (Mark) of Marquette Heights and Rick Lockwood (Melissa) of Ellsworth, Illinois; her grandchildren, Karla Houston, Ashley Burdette, Daniel Burdette (Chelsea), Marlssa Platt (Mike), Robert Chism, Cheyanne Lockwood and Mason Lockwood; and her siblings, Sherrie Eagan (David), Sandra Studdert, Charley Elgin (Martie), Don Pierson (Rosie), Rick Pierson (Nancy) and Candie Chiaavallé (Gary). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
