He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Etten and Beverly "Atwater" Van Etten (Willoughby); and his brother Bobby Van Etten. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen L. Snow; his children, Rique Van Etten (Michelle) of East Peoria, Angela Van Etten of Pekin and Jennifer Van Etten of Marquette Heights; and his siblings, Sue Mahoney (Pat) of Goodfield, Linda Pfanz of Morton, Shawn Van Etten (DJ) of Kansas City and Troy Van Etten of Florida.
