He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira H. McMillan and Dorothy McMillan (Henrichs); and his siblings, Dennis, David McMillan and Donna Weichbrodt.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Renner of Marquette Heights; his sons, Kevin McMillan (Sue) of Pekin and Kenneth McMillan (Barbara) of Ponte Vedra, FL; his grandchildren, Rene Herberger (Jason) of Pekin, Tiffany Gailliaert (Robert) of Bartonville and Khristine McMillan of Pekin; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Caylee, Carley Herberger, Isabella and Violet Gailliaert; and his brother James McMillan of Pekin.
