She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wyman and Mattie Wyman (Carter); her son Gary Brawner; and her brothers, J. W., James, John, Jr., Billy and Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin L. Reed; her grandchildren, Treat, Dorothy Morris, Carol Hickie and Shirley Holgerson; her children, Judy Phillips (Gene) of Milner, Georgia, James "Rich" Brawner of North Pekin, John Brawner, Jr. (Cheryl) of Eureka and Terryl Brawner (Kathy) of Pekin; her stepchildren, Paula Jeane Sredanovich (Sam) of Lake Elsinore, California, Stephen Reed (Karen) of Santa Marie and Bradley Reed of California; and her siblings, Larry Wyman (Janice) of Georgia, Bobby Wyman of Streator and Patricia Carlton of Kewanee, Illinois.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;18 great-great-grandchildren.
