She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard "Red" Gillespie and Elizabeth Hakes (Betty); her siblings, Rick Gillespie of Bradford, IL and Maggie Whalen (Pat Whalen) of Prescot, AZ.; her husband Steve Sansale; and her children, Mark Cain, Sharon Currier, Joel Cain, Ray Knollenberg, Angela Miller, Zachary Sansale and Bradley Sansale. She was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials in her name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
