He was predeceased by: his mother Constance Pettit (Deuth). He is survived by: his father Jim Pettit of Granville; his wife Cynthia Ossola of Mark; his children, Nathan Teauseau (Rendi) of Spring Valley, Justin Pettit of Mark, Taylor Pettit of Peru and Kali Pettit of Mark; his siblings, Michael Pettit (Patty) of Zion, IL and Kristin Tonozzi (Chad) of Mark; and his grandchildren, Tucker and Braxton Teauseau.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending the visitation are kindly asked to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to donor's choice.

“Cynthia & family ... We were very sorry to hear the news of Dave’s passing. Kim told us. You always had fun when Dave was around. We visited with the Wilson’s at your house one summer and Dave always had a smile on his face. I will always remember the one NY Eve at One Paw where Dave started to karaoke. He always new ALL the words. I can see him and Steve singing New York, New York. Good times !! He will be greatly missed. Our condolences. Todd & Niki Lindsay”
