It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephanie Voytas of Marissa, Illinois, born in Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Schneider and Roberta Schneider (McCrary); her spouse Bernell Voytas; her niece Kati Schneider; and her cousins, John and Zach McCrary.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Ferguson (James Voges) of Lenzburg, IL and Lacey Schmersahl (Jeremy) of Coulterville, IL; her grandchildren, Jalene Goetting (Bradley) of St. Libory, IL, Landen, Josephine, Quinnley Schmersahl of Coulterville, James, Lucas, Lydia and Vivian Voges of Fayetteville, IL; her great grandchild Ash Goetting of St. Libory; her brothers, Michael Schneider (Norma) of Pinckneyville and Mark Schneider (Michelle) of Pinckneyville; her aunts, Dana McCrary and Mary McCrary; her nieces and nephews, Tracy Loos, Kristy Meagher, Jayci Papenberg, Jaime Thompson, Bradley Hoehner, Brady Stewart and AJ Stewart; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Stewart (Robert), Karla Osman (David) and Victoria Voytas. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and cherished friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to Marissa District 40, c/o the high school band, and mailed to 9 East Drive, Marissa, IL 62257.
