He was predeceased by: his son Leonard Meyer Jr.; his grandchildren, Jaime Lynn Markus and Michael Meyer Jr.; his parents, Theodore and Alvira; and his brothers, Norbert and Theodore.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Meyer (Jolene), Brenda Santel (Larry), Tina Markus (Ronny), Karen Meyer, Michael Meyer, Lisa Straeter, John Meyer (Kawalin) and Patrick Meyer of South County, MO; his brother Albert Meyer of Wickenburg, AZ; and his grandchildren, Gary Jr., Cassandra, Hanna, Haley Kelly, Keith, Kyle, Kraig Kasey, Mandy, Jared, Corey Lyndsie, Garrett, Colin, Joshua, Curt, Kelsey, Kirstie, Colby, Patrick Jr., Desarai and Tanner.
