With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie L. Davis of Marissa, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. and Monica "Mona" of Davis; his siblings, Joseph Davis, John F. "Jack" Davis Jr., Billy Davis, Gary Davis and Delores "Tootie" Farmer; and his son-in-law Matthew B. Gurley.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his daughters, Ann McCormick of Marissa, IL, Linda Henson of Marissa, IL and Sarah Dudenbostel (Kevin) of Camp Pointe, IL; his son-in-law William "Bill" Henson; his grandchildren, Andrew McCormick, Michael Buen, Bailey Gurley, Brooklyn Henson, Breanna Henson, Brittany Dudenbostel, Jacob Dudenbostel (Tarryn) and Robert Dudenbostel (Barb); his great grandchildren, Danté, Kahmi, Esmé, Taylinn, Aleah and Orion; his sisters, Annabelle Hoffman (Merv) of Lenzburg, IL and Margaret Politsch of Lenzburg, IL; and his sister-in-law Juanita Liles of Marissa, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Marissa, IL.
