It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane E. McDaniel of Marissa, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, James McDaniel Jr. and William McDaniel; and her son-in-law Michael Golden. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Golden, Angela Narup, James Penrod (Heather), Joseph Penrod and Justin Penrod (Carol); and her siblings, Jack McDaniel (Judy), Roger McDaniel (Pam) and Margie Miller (Guy). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's memory to any no kill shelter for animals.
