He is survived by: his wife Robin Ruth Brenning; his daughters, Melissa Bodendieck of Cutler, IL, Bobbi Williams of Montgomery, AL, Jacqueline Ethington and Teresa Brenning of Sparta, IL; his adoptive son Bentley McCarry of Red Bud, IL; his sisters, Maxine Parker of Centerville, IL, Brenda Conway (Rex) of Cutler, IL and Jennifer Carle of Centerville, IL; his grandchildren, Frankie, Michelle Bodendieck, Alissa, Madyson, Jeanette Ethington, Aubrey, Garrett Bailey and Olivia Little; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Lloyd, Paisley, Paxton King, Arielle, Princeton Johnson, Imry, Imon Gentry and Kahlia Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home (114 S Main St, Marissa, IL 62257). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
