She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Sauerwein; her husband Charles Cathcart; her grandchildren, Shannon Cathcart and Jody Lynn Demsar; and her nephew Robert Sauerwein.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Cathcart of Marissa, IL and Debbie Demsar (Kevin) of Marissa, IL.; her grandchildren, Ryan Cathcart (Crystal) of Marissa, IL, Kyle Demsar (Jen) of Marissa, IL and Jamie Weihe (Joe) of Marissa, IL.; her great grandchildren, Nolan Cathcart, Ashlyn Cathcart, Taylor Demsar, Kyler Demsar, Grady Weihe and Dory Weihe; and her brother Bobby Sauerwein.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marissa Presbyterian Church (201 N Hamilton St, Marissa, IL 62257). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Marissa Presbyterian Church or Vitas Hospice.
