He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty June (Lorberg); his wife Peggy Ann (Campbell); his parents, William Dierks and Lena Dierks (Meyerhoff); his granddaughters, Amy Sue Dierks and Katherine Lynn Dockery; his stepson Kevin "Todd" Campbell; and his siblings, Victor Dierks, William "Sonny" Dierks, Ronnie Dierks, Mae Lakeman and Evelyn Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Dierks and Paula Dockery (Charles); and his stepson Timothy Campbell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
