It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella JoAnn McRoy of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McAnelly and Zella C. McAnelly (Rush) of Marion; her husband Robert Jackson "Jack" McRoy; her siblings, Harry Wayne McAnelly, John McAnelly, Anderson "Pete" McAnelly (Elaine) and Betty (Bob Jones) of Vienna, IL; and her granddaughter Mira Lamb of West Virginia.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Bob" McRoy (Terri) of Carterville, IL and William J. "Bill" McRoy (Judy) of Marion; her sisters, Pat King (Ed) of Herrin, IL and Kay Henderson (Leon) of Springfield, IL; her sister-in-law Mary McAnelly of Marion; and her grandchildren, Jessica O'Brien, TJ, Andrew McRoy, Lisa of Marion, Jodi Cerretti, Dean of Chicago, IL, Ashely Kelton, Jason, Justin McRoy, Stephanie of Marion, Mikelle McRoy of Chicago, IL, Megan Lamb, Mariah Martinez, Daniel of Chicago, IL, Nathan McRoy and Jess of Texas.
