He is survived by: his wife Eileen Coleman Herzog; his siblings, Edward of Lakeland, FL, Jerome (Glenda) of Lakeland, FL, Douglas (Julie) of Lakeland, FL, Deborah Lauer (Warren) and Caroline Gardner of Lakeland, FL; his children, Vincent Crawford of McHenry, IL, James Devers of Lakeland, FL and Lorel Kannenberg (Don) of Woodstock, IL; his granddaughter Crystal Kannenberg of Woodstock, IL.; his stepson Bradley Herzog (DeAnna) of Marion; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph Blake Groves (Katy) of Marion, Megan Groves of Marion, Katy McCree (Evan) of Marion, Harrison Dean and Porter James Groves of Marion; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Evie Mae McCree. He is also survived by many friends and beloved pets.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the funeral service and visitation are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
