He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Garrett and Hazel Garrett; and his son Ryan Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Marty Garrett of Clay and Marilyn Garrett of Clay, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jared Garrett (Ali) of Pensacola and Amber Garrett of Providence, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Liam Garrett, Arie Garrett of Pensacola, Adyline Day and Aliza Scarrlett of Providence, Kentucky; and his siblings, Dewenia Faye Martin of Sullivan, Donna Kay Erickson of Marion and Wallace "Wally" Garrett of Eddyville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (117 W Bellville St, Marion, KY 42064). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rosebud Cemetery.
