He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Lori Ward; his children, Gavin Ward (Kristi), Andy Ward (Rachel) and Maegan Ward; his grandchildren, Keith Clark, Madison Clark, Weston Ward, Adalynn Dixon, Jacob Ward and Macee Ward; his siblings, Lori Gelgut (John), Michael Ward (Carrie) and Danielle Clark; his mother-in-law Ann Ferguson; his brothers-in-law, Scott Ferguson (Dianna) and Kevin Ferguson (Lori); his pets, Sarge, Bitsy and Loki; and his close friends, Carl Threlkeld, Jim Webb, David Dorris, Todd Lindsey, Sal Tomas, Karl Gusentine, Chris Fozzard, Mike Winkler, Randy Charles and Robert Bradley. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Cops and Kids Fund.
