He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Johns and Frieda Lee Johns (Webb); his wife Carol Lee Dalton; and his siblings, Kathryn Wall, Olie May Scanlon, Laverne Forcelledo, Donald Eugene Johns, Raymond Johns and Dempsey Johns.
He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Cosby; his sons, Wesley L. of Marion, Thresa Johns (Raglin) of Marion and Allen D. Johns of Marion; his grandchildren, Wesley E. Johns (Courtney) of Crab Orchard and Melissa J. Hentz (Jeremy) of Herrin; his great grandchildren, Ashley Johns of Crab Orchard, Riley Johns of Crab Orchard and Kelly Fear (Noah) of Crab Orchard; his great great grandchildren, Nash of Crab Orchard and Noxx Fear of Crab Orchard; his brother Tommy Johns of Troy, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Dalton of Marion and Geraldine Bloodworth of Marion. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
