Vernell Krumrey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2024, at the age of 101, Vernell Krumrey of Marion, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krumrey and Ella Krumrey (Fluck); his wife Mildred Krumrey; and his son Darryll Krumrey. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kistin Lober (Jeff), Wendie Holmes, Jordan Krumrey, Harleigh Krumrey and Jay Krumrey of Marion; his great grandchildren, Kelsey Lober, Kaiden Johns, Elair Johns, Kenady Boyer (Ridge) and Dennon Johns of Marion; and his close friend Vicki Meracle. He is also survived by nephews and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be directed to the local Meals on Wheels Program or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
