It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Rose Denton of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Long and Mary Long (Fisher). She is survived by: her sons, Randy Denton of Marion, Steve Denton (Jeri) of Murphysboro and Brad Denton (Katie) of Terra Haute, IN; her grandchildren, Todd Denton (Brandi) of Breese, Jamie Coontz of Metropolis, Kamden Denton of Murphysboro, Dylan Stone of Murphysboro, Kylee, Kenley and Kooper Denton; and her brother Ronald Long of Laughlin, NV.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
