He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Perry and Melba Genell Perry (Henderson); his wife Stella Mae Tucker; his son Tex Timothy Perry; and his brothers, Rex Perry and Frank Perry.

He is survived by: his children, Anita Crane (Charlie Spenner) of Goreville, Jim Perry (Debra) of Carterville and Patricia Miller (Daniel Hance, Sr.) of Goreville; his grandchildren, Renee Grimes (Bill) of West Frankfort, Felicia Maze (Chad) of Washington, DC, Rebecca Purdiman (K. T.) of Energy, Gabe Perry of Energy, Blake Schuchardt (Briane) of Eddyville and Adam Schuchardt of Paducah, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Kristi Brown of Herrin, Tristen Brown of West Frankfort, Brantley Grimes of West Frankfort, Andrew Grimes of West Frankfort, Rachelle Grimes of West Frankfort, Meiyah Kirksey of Energy, Madison Kirksey of Energy, Jayden Devore of Carterville, Braelyn Schuchardt of Eddyville and Brynlee Schuchardt of Eddyville; and his siblings, Judy Webb of Foristell, Missouri, Wex Perry of Macon and Max Perry of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, many friends, and his beloved church family.
