He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Crites and Nellie Crites (McCormick); his wife Holly Johnson; his sisters, Mary Calhoun and Violetta Knowles; and his great grandchild Joshua Aaron Crites.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Crites (Michelle) of Marion, Gary Crites (Sheila) of Herrin, Betsy Simmons (Tim) of Marion, Kirby Crites (Pam) of Marion and Tony Crites (Heather) of College Station, TX; his brother Jerry Crites of Marion; and his brother-in-law Evan Johnson of Geneva, IL.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the funeral service and visitation are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
