Stanley Beggs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Beggs of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Hale and Jenivie Beggs (Cavett); and his stepson Ronald "Pork Chop" Holman. He is survived by: his wife Cassandra Beggs of Marion; his daughter Rachel Ann Beggs of Morris, IL; his stepchildren, Jeana Marie Guzman of Marion, Eugene Curtis Jones, Jr. of Marion, Pryce Edward Jones (Tracy) of Marion and Ava Marie Jones Brush of Carterville; and his sister Mary Claudine Hancock of Pontiac, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home (900 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
