It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Howard Russell of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ogle Hubbard and Mirel Afton Hubbard (Chitty); her former husband Junior Lee Howard; her daughter LaWanda "Janie" Snyder; and her sister LaWanda Saunders.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Russell; and her children, Luther Howard, Rex Howard (Midi), Chester Howard (Dorothy), Charles Howard (Laurie) and Libby Coffey (Tim). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nephews.
