We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2024, at the age of 77, Sandra L. Wheaton of Marion, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Sylvester and Ruby Geraldine Moyers (Merritt); and her former husband Gregory Mark Wheaton. She is survived by: her husband Elco Pentecostal Church; her children, Timothy Wheaton (Rebekah) of Lexington, KY, Rebecca Anderson (Brian) of Greencastle, IN and Jon Wheaton (Amanda) of Herrin, IL; her grandchildren, Justin Wheaton (Navoda), Gatlin Wheaton (Randi), Leilani Wheaton, Darian Wheaton (Lia), Jude Wheaton, Liz Anderson, Bri Anderson, Logan Wheaton, Nolan Wheaton and Piper Wheaton; her great grandchildren, Magnolia Wheaton, Camellia Wheaton, Ezra Wheaton, Aurora Wheaton, Evelyn Wheaton and Owen Wheaton; her siblings, Alice Meagher of Fenton, MO, Mike Moyers (JoKaren) of Rend Lake, IL and Ron Moyers (Joy) of Chaffee, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Rhonda Bittle (Terry) of Jonesboro, IL, Sherrel Pinnon (Ken) of Lick Creek, IL, Randy Wheaton (Kathy) of Jonesboro, IL and Rudy Wheaton of Jonesboro, IL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and several extended family members and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home (900 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
