He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Smith and Wanda Smith (Jones); his wife Jane Smith; his daughter Kristal Rush (Tim); his grandsons, Jason Rush and Zachary Rush; his sister Barbara Mayfield; his brother-in-law Bill Jager, Sr.; his nephews, Bill Jager, Jr., Mark Jager and Cody Mayfield; and his niece Suzie Roth.

For those who prefer, memorials may be made to the Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
