She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Kegley and Lyda Jeane Kegley (Lambert); her husband William C. "Bill" Macier; and her granddaughters, Julie Macier and Laura Macier.
She is survived by: her sons, William G. Macier (Julie) of Green Bay, WI, Gary M. Macier (Pam) of Haddonfield, NJ, John S. Macier (Barbara) of Marion, IL, Jeff L. Macier (Anne) of San Marcos, CA and Phillip G. Macier (Julie) of West Frankfort, IL; and her grandchildren, Taryn (John), Tadj, Matthew (Stephanie), Christopher (Shy), Andrew (Christine), Samantha, Gregory, Peter and Lilly. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (600 N Russell St, Marion, IL 62959). A rosary was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to "St. Joseph Catholic Church" or "Hospice of Southern Illinois.".
