She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Gibbons and Edna Gibbons (Fry); her husband Vernon L. "Jack" Smothers; her granddaughter Shelly Bonney; her great grandchild KayLynn Bonney; and her siblings, Sybil Chamness, Virginia Powell, Ray Gibbons, Bob Gibbons, Rod Gibbons and Billy Gibbons.
She is survived by: her son Jack; her grandchildren, Clint and Shara Peyton; her great grandchildren, Savana Smothers and Boston Peyton; and her brother Glen.
