Rose Evelyn Stout Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Evelyn Stout of Marion, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Virgil and Violet Mae O'Brien, Sr. (McCree); her husband Ronnie Gene Stout; and her son Matthew. She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Stout of Marion and Ronald Stout (Tara) of Marion; her grandchildren, Sarah, Megan, Timothy, Ashleigh, Brandy, Christina, Adam, Suzie and Erin; and her siblings, Barbara Holland, Bertha Robinson, Edward O'Brien, William Virgil "Buddy" O'Brien, Jr. and Betty Stewart. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 4:00 p. m. until 7:00 p. m. Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, social distancing is advised and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or SIH Cancer Institute of Carterville and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, 201 S. 13th Street, Herrin, Illinois 62948.
