With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Travelstead (Marion, Illinois), born in Creal Springs, Illinois, who passed away on June 20, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Mutt" and Ruth Travelstead (Wolfe); his siblings, Pearline Phillips and Alfred Dean Travelstead; and his son-in-law Jack West.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Travelstead; his children, Debbie West and Mark; his granddaughter Marki; his siblings, Sharon and Larry; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Fisher and Donna Fisher; and his friend Greg Haas. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews, Neighbor.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the funeral service and visitation are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
