It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Ervin of Marion, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Gilbert Ervin and Mary Imogene Ervin (Wilson); and his father-in-law Roy Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Valerie J. Taylor; his daughter Melissa Nicole; his grandchildren, Tyler James Gill, Korbyn Taylor Gill and Peyton Leanne Gill; his mother-in-law Melba Taylor of Vienna, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Mic and Duane McGinnis of Grantsburg, Illinois; his niece Leslie; and his cousins, Mary Janell Lopez of O'Fallon, Ann Sneed of Dahlgren and Linda Cleary of Marlton.
