He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Emmert and Bhula Emmert (Glick); his brother Duane Ely; and his brother-in-law Ernest Logan. He is survived by: his wife Julie Emmert; his children, Lee Richard Emmert (Erin Neill) and Christina Marie Altringer (Christopher); his sister Jereta Logan; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Johnson and Lois Ely. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
