He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Howell and Mary Eileen Moore Howell (Marks); his sister Karen Sue Ewell; and his grandparents, Lorezo Dow Howell, Aretta McCree Howell, Guy Gustus Moore and Daisy Darling Rose Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Bryan Howell of Royalton, Tammy Eastwood (Bryan) of West Frankfort, Sean Howell (Mallory) of Sesser and Tara Braymer of Summerfield; his sister Robin Koehl (L. D.) of West Frankfort; his brother-in-law Harold W. Ewell of Galatia; his grandchildren, Shayne Howell, Lindsey Arvai (Dylan), Jared Eastwood (Kayla), Morgan, Raelyn Howell, Zander Brauner, Joshua Brauner, Adrian Braymer, Todd Howell and Ezra Howell; his great grandchildren, Lilly Howell and Preslee Dillow; his aunt Betty Howell of DeSoto; his nieces and nephews, David Ewell (Lanna), Jon Ewell, Danielle (David Butler) and Alison DeSomer; and his close friend Debbie Travelstead.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Voyage Senior Living of Marion-Activities Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
