He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, H. D. Montgomery and Inez Montgomery (Albright); and his spouse Betty McGee. He was also cherished by Twenty-Three great grandchildren One Great Great grandchild He was preceded in death by his parents.

For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to Grange Hall Freewill Baptist Church or the Baptist Children's Home.
