She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Alvin and Helen Lorene Colbroth (Campbell); her sister Judy Choate; her niece Theresa Choate; her brother Richard Colbroth; and her nephews, Dexter and Junior Colbroth.
She is survived by: her children, Desi Allen Penninger of Marion, Shawn Penninger (Sarah) of Herrin and Heather Rosanna Dwyer (Jason) of Marion; her grandchildren, Kaylin Penninger of St. Louis, MO, Savannah Penninger of Herrin, Allie Jane Dwyer of Marion, Conner Penninger of Marion, Mya Dwyer of Marion, Jameson Penninger of Marion and Gage Penninger of Herrin; and her sisters, Cathy Lingle (Jerry) of Marion, Darlene Heidlebaugh (John) of Marion, Susie Parker of Marion, Shirley Dillon of Creal Springs and Vickie Rector of Creal Springs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends.
Due to the executive order by the Governor of Illinois, those attending the visitation and funeral service inside, must wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
