With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Scott Cooksey of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Mae Cooksey (McGinness) and Robert Cooksey; and his brother Steve Cooksey. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Winstead (Charlie) of Marion, Charles Cooksey of Rockledge, FL., Joann Lytle of Marion, Robert Cooksey (Barbara) of Johnston City and John Cooksey (Beth) of Johnston City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
