She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Boyer and Lillian Boyer (Foster); her husband Laverne "Barney" Simmerman; her daughters, Patsy A. Martin and Janice M. Horsley; and her sisters, Betty Heyde and Alma Neber.
She is survived by: her children, Kay B. Hickey (Lindell) of Marion, IL, Tammy L. Walters (Robert) of Marion, IL and BJ Simmerman (Kelly) of Marion, IL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
