It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyle Gooch (Marion, Illinois), who passed away on December 23, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Veldon and Lillian Louise Gooch (Stroud); his brother Dennis Gooch; and his great grandchild Darrin Scott White. He is survived by: his wife Janet Gooch of Marion, Illinois; his children, Shelley Walker (Mark) of Marion, Illinois, Stan Gooch (Katrina) of Marion, Illinois, Darrin Gooch (Millie) of Marion, Illinois, Scott Gooch of Marion, Illinois and Tony Gooch (Kristi) of Marion, Illinois; and his brothers, Mike Gooch of Golconda and Tom Gooch (Barbara) of Crab Orchard, Illinois. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Ambleside School and will be accepted at First Church of God the day of the service or by mail to Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
