He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Loyd and Ada Agnes Younkin (Felts); his wife Mary Ellen Peterman; his grandson Brad Younkin; and his siblings, Norman, Lucille Lewis, Lola Faye Casey, Verletta Younkin and Ruth Drew.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Judy Younkin), Gayla (Jim Bailey) and Rev. Keith (Vicky Younkin); and his grandchildren, Beth Kelley (Jeff) of Metropolis, Jason Bailey of Tunnel Hill, Rachelle Reagan (Jeremiah) of Herrin, Rebecca Qualls of Crainville, Rev. Jarrid Younkin (Kendra) of Phoenix, Arizona, Harry Younkin, Dennis Younkin, Donald Younkin, Howard Younkin and Leroy Younkin. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and the signing of executive order by the Governor of the State of Illinois, if you are planning on attending the service facial masks are REQUIRED and customarily accepted social distancing guidelines is encouraged.
