Linda Gail Thompson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Gail Thompson of Marion, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Skelton and Bercha Nell Skelton (Moore); and her sister Janet Skelton. She is survived by: her wife Cari Elswick; her children, Amy Doss of Marion, Illinois and Chuck Foster of Las Cruces; her brothers, Rick Skelton (Sandy) of Carbondale and Mike Skelton (Denise) of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Jonathan Wagner (Zach), Elijah Doss, River Doss (Danielle), Camden Doss, Chase Foster and Hannah Foster; her nephews, Michael Skelton (Morgan "Mo") and Andrew Skelton (Leah); and her great-niece Anna Skelton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion United Church of Christ (930 W Cherry St, Marion, IL 62959). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
