She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Burton and Geraldine Mae Cruse (Norris); her husband Charles Wayne "Charley" Cox; and her son Jeffrey Wayne Cox. She is survived by: her son Les Brent Cox (Vickie Lynn) of West Frankfort, IL; her sister-in-law Jeanette Kirby of Toledo, TN; and her cousin Dolores Thetford of Herrin, IL. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
For those who preferred, the family requested that memorial donations be made to "First Baptist Church" and were mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court St., Marion, IL 62959.
