She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mollo and Pauline Mollo (Cavitt); her husband Monroe Eugene Lappin; and her brothers-in-law, John Votrain, Floyd Meyers, Treallis, Arthur Jake, Don and Frank Lappin.

She is survived by: her son William Dale Lappin of Marion; her grandson Billy Joe (Tamara Lappin) of Savannah, GA; her great grandchildren, Taylor Danielle Lappin of Savannah, GA, Brenden Joseph Lappin of Marion and Connor Wyatt Lappin of Savannah, GA; her daughter-in-law Angie Powers-West (Rodger) of Marion; her sister Roma J. Votrain of Highland; her niece Gina Hirsch (Tim); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Auston James, Kaelin Hirsch of Highland and Julie Jakel (Brad); her sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Lappin of West Frankfort, Jeannine Lappin of Johnston City, Sylvia Meyers of West Frankfort and Joan Lappin of Clinton; her pet Jed; and also, Adrianna and Collin Jakel of Highland.
