It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Patricia Burnett (Marion, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Topor and Mary Topor (Rogowski). She is survived by: her husband Paul D. Burnett of Marion; her children, Carl A. Burnett (Marilyn) of Hickory, NC, Adam D. Burnett (Elizabeth "Betsy") of Lisbon, IL, Nicholas D. Burnett (Sandi) of Marion, Rebecca M. Burnett of Rantoul, IL and Victoria M. Shimkus of Mahomet, IL; and her sister-in-law Linda Topor of Texas. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
