He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mitchell and Barbara Mitchell (Lucas); and his siblings, Eddie Mitchell and Debra Kay McCombs (Mitchell). He is survived by: his children, Tausha Mitchell, Amber Mitchell, Jeremiah Mitchell, Misty Taylor (Dustyn Taylor) of Marion, Micheal Mitchell (Jessica Mitchell) of Carterville and Matthew Mitchell of Carterville; and his siblings, Jan McMichael (Steven McMichael) of Virginia, Vicki Morgan (Wayne Morgan) and Rocky Mitchell (LeAnn Mitchell). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
